As photographers we should never forget that LIGHT is our medium, our substance of expression, and there is a simple joy in chasing light around the mundane objects around us, exploring and manipulating it the same way a painter plays with paint, or a musician plays with sound. ANY object suddenly becomes an object of beauty and fascination simply by the play of light.
